In contrast with many other assisted living facilities, which charge extra for many services, the monthly rent at Pyareo Home includes practically all of the services needed for day-to-day living. This is true not only for full-pay residents but also for partial-pay residents. This means that there are no additional costs for nursing services, maintenance charges, transportation to appointments, electricity, phone (landline), wi-fi internet and television, etc.

Partial-pay Residents
Pyareo Home is one of the few licensed assisted-living facilities in New Hampshire that offers its services to those who don’t have the financial resources to pay the full amount for the service.
To be eligible as partial-pay residents, they must qualify for Medicaid. The Medicaid program is administered by the State of New Hampshire and is called Choices for Independence (CFI).
Full-pay residents can transition to partial-pay if they are eligible to enroll in CFI. This provides peace of mind to our residents and their families as it ensures that residents can stay in their apartment at Pyareo Home even after their funds are expended. Consult our administrator for details.
Partial-pay, or CFI, residents are entitled to retain a $74 allowance per month from their Social Security (SSI) or Social Security Disability Income (SSDI), with the rest going to Pyareo Home for their rent. In addition, the state provides a daily subsidy to Pyareo Home for its CFI residents.
Because the Social Security benefits and CFI subsidy together do not cover the full cost of supporting a resident at the Home, partial-pay residents must be subsidized by our donors.
A limited number of suites have been set aside for partial-pay residents. The number of residents we can subsidize depends on the level of donations.
